Documents
The short answer: this software keeps the record and shows the next click. It does not run your association, keep your books as a service, or tell you what the law requires.
That limit is the product, not fine print. Boards buy tools that quietly promise to be the manager, the bookkeeper, and the lawyer, then discover at the annual meeting that a person still has to decide, sign, and answer. We would rather say it here.
What stays yours
A person approves anything a resident would receive. You do the work. The software makes that work findable by the next board.
- Decisions: the board votes, hires, and answers for the association
- Books as a service: your treasurer keeps them; your CPA files from them
- Legal and accounting advice: your own advisors, under your documents and your state
- What the law requires you to keep or send: we do not say
What the record does instead
Dues, meetings, notices, documents, cases, and vendors stay on one association record, readable by role. When the board changes, the record does not change with it.
General information, not legal advice. Your state and your governing documents differ.
