Dues
The short answer: you do not retype the spreadsheet. You bring the file you already have, a person approves where each row goes — door, owner, opening balance — and residents are invited only after the totals tie to the number your board expects.
The split stack is normal: one tool for dues, one for books, a drive for documents. It works until the one volunteer who holds it together leaves, and then it is archaeology.
The order that works
Upload what you have. Review the proposed mapping row by row. Tie the opening balances. Then invite residents, tied to the next dues date. Nothing a resident would see goes out before a person approves it, and an applied import can be undone.
- Upload what you have
- Review the proposed mapping row by row
- Tie the opening balances
- Invite residents, tied to the next dues date
Stop running the association out of the spreadsheet
That is the path Hoavik is built around. Upload, mapping, and a person who approves each row. The sample shows the tied result. We do not move an association for you as a service — the software proposes, your board approves.
